I love a good challenge… Vanessica and Brian came to me with a special request. They wanted to have their wedding at her family’s home away from home in a small town, Spickard, MO. It is tucked away in a small Amish town and it’s beauty is simply breathtaking. I always tell clients “let’s make it an experience for your guests” well, this was going to be quite the experience for them! It was a true cold, rainy, windy day but it didn’t keep everyone from having a good time! I am a huge fan of outdoor weddings because you can really use your imagination and create the unthinkable. We brought in some of the best vendors from all over the state. Brandi Tanksley and her attention to detail allowed her to capture all the pretty little things. Speaking of pretty little things, Jeremy from Kents Floral in Columbia, MO designed one of the best Fall combinations I have ever seen. The mixture of bold and beautiful with soft and whimsical made the perfect palette for what we were going for. The decor was out of this world! Exclusive Events is truly one of a kind, creating a magical night under the stars with a clear span tent, soft white draping, variety of chandeliers and Amber lighting you could see a mile away! One of the greatest surprises of all was the food! I reached out to the one and only Olive Catering to help complete the look. The ladies at Olive Catering get it- not only is their catering out of this world but their service is nothing less than 5-star! I can’t recommend them enough…
I also want to point out that Vanessica’s family was a huge help! Vanessica’s mom, Lynda, picked up all the ceremony chandeliers and candle holders at flee markets or garage sales. It’s true, someone else’s junk is another’s treasure!

Drinks please! Guests could pick their favorite non-alcoholic drink and just add ice! The guests were greeted with Old Fashions and Apple-Cidertini’s
This custom bar had a transparent top and shadow box front made by Exclusive Events was eye catching! We made it easy for guests by leaving it on the dance floor.
