Some of my brides are people I have known for a few years .  Many times I work with brides from the engagement until the “I do,” and then there are the brides that I meet long after the engagement and shortly before the “I do.”  Such is the case with Nina.  Weeks before a July 31st wedding,  mutual industry friends Liene Stevens of ThinkSplendid, and Ali Phillips with Engaging Events by Ali introduced us.   Before I even knew I would get to work with her, I had spent months reading  her blog, According to Nina,  for go-to ideas and fashions.  The prospect of working with someone who seemed to have amazing ideas and creativity was very exciting, so I hoped we had a lot in common for her wedding ideas.   After getting to know her, she truly felt like a bride I had known for years instead of weeks.  Nina and Joe’s exquisite  downtown St. Louis wedding was everything she imagined.   Her inspiration board consisted of soft pinks, campaign and ivory hues to match her warm vision.  When I asked Nina how Joe and she envisioned their day, she spoke of an elegant, classy, sophisticated, and enchanting atmosphere with great food, great music and great people.  This was a St. Louis wedding  I was not going to miss!

And here is my favorite part…the details!  If a normal picture is worth a thousand words, then the wedding album is worth too many words to even count.  You really have to check out the images on the BrandyJ Photography Blog.  This photographer married duo traveled all the way to St. Louis from Ohio, yet they definitely made the trip worthwhile .  Not only are their pictures stunning, the people behind them are just as special, and I feel fortunate just to be a part of this exquisite event.
