Tara and Steve Schultz got married on the most beautiful day, August 7th.  I know you all might think August is simply too hot to get married in St. Louis, but it was the ideal summer day for the two.  The girls got the day started at the Chase Plaza with Team Tara shirts and the men sat poolside catching up on sports.  Tara and Steve told me from the beginning they had a fun outgoing group, but little did I know how much fun I really would have throughout the day with everyone.

I fell in love with all Tara’s accessories.  We all love Esty and Tara scored big with this fabulous hair piece.  Steve gave Tara the most amazing Swarovski jewelry, which made Tara stand out a mile away.

This is what I describe as striking and beautiful.  The fuchsia pinks, satin black and beautiful wedding party made me feel like I was working on set of the first ever St. Louis Sex and the City movie.

Tara fell in love with the black and white damask look and made that her inspiration throughout the wedding.  She added a beautiful pink to the mix to bring some pop for detail.  Everything from the stationary, tablescape, hair accessories, bridesmaids and groomsmen matched the look.

The couple got married at Graham Chapel on Washington University’s campus in St. Louis where Steve went to law school.  The couple met at her sister’s wedding where Steve went to law school with the groom.  Most of the pictures were taken of the two around campus accompanied by the wedding party.  It was a very intimate ceremony followed by their grand exit where the guest got to toss rose petals at the couple.

Cocktail hour followed right behind the ceremony where guest got to enjoy the Chase’s Zodiac Terrace.  This room is on the 11th floor and oversees St. Louis.  After sunset, guest made their way inside to enjoy the food, drinks and music.  The decor was very chic with bold black and fuchsia feathers, roses and rhinestones that made each table dazzle.

It was the perfect day to get married in St. Louis and I was so happy I got to be apart of it! Now, here are some of Tara’s details…
