You know they say it’s good luck if it rains on your wedding day… well it did just that for Christine and Larry on November 26th, 2011. Christine and Larry’s wedding might have had a few unexpected showers, but that didn’t put a damper on their day. Christine and Larry met at Mizzou and soon moved to St. Louis to start their lives together. They are the kind of couple that melts your heart when you talk to them. Not to mention their families ever lasting love and support made the planning process more enjoyable for everyone.
The design and styling part of their big day came easy for us. A lovely combination of chic, elegance and candlelight created a modern, yet warm environment for the Fall wedding. The signature St. Louis Fleur de lis was a theme through their wedding stamped on paper goods and welcome bags. One thing I loved about this wedding was the food! They had food stations to create a social experience for their guests. They were able to mix and mingle with friends and family while enjoying sushi, carving station, potato station and more! Everyone packed the dance floor by the end of the night dancing and singing along with one of St. Louis’s favorite band, Galaxy. Time always flies by when you are having fun-but it didn’t stop… guests were invited to the new bar 360 at the top of Hilton Ball Park for some of the best view of the city.
Christine’s dress was purchased from Maiden Voyage. The beaded waste band was the perfect touch to her silk charmeuse A-line gown.
Christine had one of the best Maid of Honor’s I’ve ever had. CJ was fun, enthusiastic and was always by Christine’s side for a helping hand.
