Spring may have sprung here in St. Louis, but we’re thinking all about fall as we plan for our busy fall wedding season. Pantone recently released its top color trends for Fall 2015 themed An Evolving Color Landscape using earthy neutrals and bold accent tones. We can’t wait to weave these gorgeous tones into the color palates of our upcoming weddings…here’s how you can, too!

Stormy Weather – The dusty undertones of this classic navy hue make Stormy Weather a perfect fall shade.

Where we love it – A classic black tux will never go out of style, but if you’re looking to mix up tradition a bit, consider navy shades in your menswear. We love this velvet blazer – so shabby chic for the dapper dudes. You can also weave Stormy Weather into your place settings or centerpieces. Chargers, bud vases and napkins are all subtle ways to use Stormy Weather as an accent color.2015-04-03_0003

Dried Herb – This earthy hue is rustic and romantic. Soften it up with sweet floral shades, or let it lead the way by pairing it with cream or ivory.

Where we love it – In the fall, the weather can be unpredictable. But in an earthy shade like Dried Herb, you can select lighter weight bridesmaid dresses that will be season appropriate no matter what the weather. If it ends up being cool on your big day, provide your girls with shawls in an accent color. We also love Dried Herb in floral. Check out this fab centerpiece idea – actual herbs! At the end of the night, invite guests to take one home as a favor. They’ll remember your big day every time they reach for the rosemary!2015-04-03_0005

Biscay Bay – A lush and elegant teal, Biscay Bay combines the serene qualities of blue with the invigorating aspects of green, inspiring thoughts of soothing, tropical waters.

Where we love it – Your “Something blue” doesn’t have to be cobalt blue! The green undertones of Biscay Bay make for stunning shoes, and there’s no doubt your bridesmaids will flip over a dress in this stunning shade. Considering a candy bar for your reception? An ombre spread of your wedding colors is to die for!

Cashmere Rose – This sophisticated pink is soft but not too sweet.

Where we love it – Pink is always so much fun! Whether it’s your primary color or is just an accent, you can weave Cashmere rose into linens like these sparkly ones, which we love for couples who love a little shimmer and bling! And your ‘maids will look so darling getting ready wearing satin robes in this gorgeous color.

Reflecting Pond – Deep, dark and delicious! Reflecting Pond adds a dramatic touch to any fall event.

Where we love it – Clean, dark blue invitations make a dramatic statement for your guests. And bold, dangling accessories would look stunning on your bridal party.

Oak Buff – If this shade doesn’t perfectly capture the color of an autumn sunset, we don’t know what does. Warm and inviting, Oak Buff offers deep accents or a rich primary palate from which to grow.

Where we love it – Floral floral floral! No one does autumn better than Mother Nature. We love Oak Buff in bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces alike. Integrating warm throw pillows into your soft seating area will make your reception inviting and comfortable.

Marsala – Red, red wine. Pantone’s color of the year is perfect for fall weddings. It sets just the right tone from the ceremony to the reception.

Where we love it – Marsala makes a dramatic statement. Red velvet cake is not only delicious, but it comes dressed for the occasion! Pomegranate juice gives cocktails the trendy hue – and tastes great, too…helloooo antioxidants! And we love Marsala as an envelope color. Drama delivered straight from the Post Office.

Cadmium Orange – Fall doesn’t have to mean deep and dark. This coraly orange shade is bright and bold, but plays nicely with its other autumn friends.

Where we love it – Boutonnieres add a playful pop on an otherwise formal tuxedo. And autumn calla lilies stand out from the crowd.

Desert Sage – Dusty and romantic, Desert Sage is a fantastic fall alternative to spring’s seafoam and mint. It plays well as an accent but is strong enough to stand on its own.

Where we love it – Are you seeing these bridesmaids’ dresses?!? The romance is unreal. Paired with white and ivory, Desert Sage is soft yet stunning on invitations, and floral showcasing the shade let nature’s beauty take center stage (after the bride, of course!).

Amethyst Orchid – This jewel tone beauty makes a statement. Creative and exciting, this hue is hot for fall.

Where we love it – Purple is a shade both men and women can get behind. Get the guys in on the fun with statement socks in purple stripes, polka dots and argyle. And purple floral is a nice cool alternative to the warm oranges, reds and golds we see so much of in autumn.
