There’s something special about weddings in Austin, Texas. Fall and Winter weddings also cast a special tone, so when you mix the two together, magic happens!

Recently, I had the honor of styling a shoot for Brides of Austin Magazine, in which I collaborated with some of the most talented local Austin vendors I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

For this shoot, we took a luxe and classic approach by channeling Ralph Lauren with plaids, velvets, and golds. We created a cozy lounge setting for Cocktail Hour and the reception with natural touches and tons of texture. You can’t beat a full and fabulous farmhouse table setting and I love when we mix up seating options for couples to create a layered look with tons of interest. And can you just imagine guests sipping on steaming cups of hot cocoa as they look out over the Texas Hill Country at sunset?!?

The spread just came out in the Fall/Winter issue of Brides of Austin, but the full shoot was so incredible that I wanted to take you guys behind the scenes to see every gorgeous detail! I’m feeling so inspired and can’t wait to bring elements of this design to life for the right couple!
